Fee Schedule as of 1st July 2025

• Standard Initial Consultation: Bulk Billed through Medicare

• Foreign Body Removal: Bulk Billed through Medicare

• Ophthalmologist referrals with a standard consultation: Bulk Billed through Medicare

• Reports and patient records transfer: $25.00 per report

• Digital Retinal Scan: $45.00 (billed once per year)

• Spectacle Supply Scheme (Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme): $30.00 per application

• Contact Lens Fitting Package (as many consults as required in a 12 month period): $150.00 once off fee if not eligible for Medicare rebate.

• Contact Lens Fitting: $50.00 per visit if not eligible for Medicare rebate.

  • Contact Lens Fitting Medicare Eligibility: One of the following criteria must be met to qualify.

    • Sphere equal or greater than +/- 5.00D OR

    • Cyl equal or greater than -3.00D
